Detailed Itinerary Hunza and Skardu Autumn Tour
Day-01: Islamabad and Rawalpindi
You’ll be welcomed at the Islamabad airport and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you’ll go on a city tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, visiting Faisal Mosque, Shakar Parian, Pakistan monument, Damen Koh, Lok Versa, Museum, and the old bazaars of Rawalpindi, including Raja Bazaar.

Day-02: Drive from Islamabad to Chilas
The day starts with a 279 km drive to Naran. After lunch, the journey continues for 3-4 hours to Chilas (113.3 km) via the Babusar Pass. This pass is at an elevation of 4,173 m (13,691 ft) and is known as the highest point in the Kaghan Valley, connecting it to Chilas on the Karakoram Highway.

Day-03: Drive from Chilas to Skardu
You’ll drive for 8-9 hours along the Indus River to Skardu (290 km). The route includes a stop at the junction point of three great mountain ranges: The Karakorum, Himalaya, and Hindukush. You’ll also stop at Thalichi for a view of Nanga Parbat (8,126 m).

Day-04: Local visits in Skardu & Shigar
In the morning, you’ll drive 35 km to Shigar Valley to visit the Shigar Fort and the Cold Desert, also known as the Katpana Desert. In the afternoon, you’ll visit Satpara Lake and hike for two hours to Kharpocho fort from Skardu city.

Day 5: Excursion to Khaplu Village
This day is a 100 km drive to Khaplu village. You’ll visit the Chaqchan Mosque, Khpalu fort, and the village itself. In the evening, you’ll drive back to Skardu.

Day 6: Drive from Skardu to Gilgit & Hunza
The journey continues with a 240 km drive to Gilgit. After lunch there, you’ll visit the Gilgit Bazaar and Kargah Buddha. The day concludes with a 100 km drive to Hunza Valley, with stops for photos and refreshments.

Day 7: Karimabad - Visit Baltit Fort and Altit Fort
The morning is dedicated to visiting the 700-year-old Baltit Fort and Baltit village. In the afternoon, you’ll see the 900-year-old Altit Fort, Altit village, and a women carpenters project. The evening includes a walk along the water channel from Karimabad to Hyderabad village.

Day 8: Visit Hopper and Duiker Valley
You’ll take a morning excursion to Hopper Valley to see the Hopper glacier. In the afternoon, you’ll drive to Duiker Valley, a viewpoint known for its sunset and sunrise views over the surrounding mountains of Hunza.

Day 9: Duiker, Gulmit, Passu & Sost
The day consists of a 50 km drive to Passu, with stops at Attabad Lake, Borith Lake, Gulkin village, Gulmit village, Passu white Glacier, Passu village, Hussani village, and the Hussani suspension bridge. The day ends with another 50 km drive to Sost.

Day 10: Khunjerab Pass and Karimabad
You’ll take an excursion to Khunjerab Pass (the Pakistan/China border) and then drive back to Karimabad in the evening.

Day 11: Drive from Karimabad to Naran
You’ll drive 355 km to Naran via the Babusar Pass (4,173 m), stopping at various viewpoints along the way.
